I’m not “just a drummer” and neither are you. Drumming is something we do – passionately! My approach is simple: rather than treating symptoms as they arise (whether physical symptoms like fatigue and injury or mental symptoms like decreased motivation and burnout), we strengthen your foundation with accountability and expert guidance from an experienced coach.

I’m your FitDrummers coach, Rich Knox.

I play drums in the band Danko Jones, and I’ve been a professional studio and touring drummer for the past 20+ years. I regularly play club shows and festivals in front of thousands of people and I’ve done it night after night for years.

How? A balanced, holistic approach to drumming, physical fitness, nutrition, and mental wellbeing.

I hold multiple certifications in fitness training and nutrition.

I’m passionate about drumming and about helping other drummers reach their full potential.
